Professors Kim Yi Dionne and Farah Godrej of the UC Riverside Department of Political Science have been selected to serve as associate editors of Political Research Quarterly, one of the field’s leading peer-reviewed journals.

Their appointments are part of a newly announced nine-member editorial team led by Neil Chaturvedi (Cal Poly Pomona), who will assume the role of editor-in-chief beginning July 1, 2026. The editorial team was recommended by a selection committee and approved by the Western Political Science Association Executive Council.

Political Research Quarterly is a flagship journal in political science, publishing cutting-edge research across a wide range of subfields. As associate editors, Professors Dionne and Godrej will play a key role in shaping the journal’s scholarly direction, overseeing peer review, and supporting the publication of high-quality research.

Their selection reflects both scholars’ significant contributions to the discipline and highlights UC Riverside’s continued presence in shaping the future of political science research.
