Jieun Lee Named Dissertation Program Award Recipient
Fellowship provides two quarters of support for 2026–27The Department of Political Science at the University of California, Riverside, is pleased to share that PhD candidate Jieun Lee has been selected to receive the Dissertation Program Award for the 2026–27 academic year from the Graduate Division.
This competitive fellowship recognizes Lee’s strong academic achievements and the quality of her dissertation research. The award provides two quarters of full support – including stipend and university-assessed fees – allowing her to focus intensively on research.
The Dissertation Program Award is granted to a select group of doctoral students whose work demonstrates exceptional promise. By providing dedicated time and resources, the fellowship supports timely progress toward degree completion and continued contributions to the field.
